Re: All series links show no planned recordings!?
The problem is still there on mine too. The strange thing is that the wishlists are working but series links aren't.
I must admit to checking my planned recordings quite frequently due to not 100% trusting the EPG info so I caught this glitch early

Re: All series links show no planned recordings!?
Good job they left my SA box when they installed my Tivo as thats still recording fine. I tend to record the same series on both boxes just in case something like this happened and now my paranoid has been justified.

Re: All series links show no planned recordings!?
Here is the latest from the forum post I popped a link to in my earlier post:-
"Hi all, I have just had an update, the fix has not gone through yet, we need to get access to some servers to do this, we are trying our best to do this today, but as it is Sunday this may not be possible, therefore it may be tomorrow morning before this is fixed.
It has been escalated up the chain and we are working on getting access, therefore there is nothing further we can do at present, as soon as I have more information I will update on here."

Re: All series links show no planned recordings!?
I've just asked in the VM forum are customers going to be issued a £3 refund for this shambles.
I'd love to tell people to go away cos it's a Sunday at work!

l have always praised Virgin when need be but it is a pathetic response when they say that they cannot do it till Monday.

Re: All series links show no planned recordings!?
I agree Den, in today's climate companies are paid enough money to operate 24/7.
I know it's only TV but it's just the way Vm go about it, as I said before why they don't change the VM status page and also send a message to every TiVo box to issue a warning is beyond me!

This is what happens when a company outsource. VM are at the mercy of TiVo here, not just for this issue but also for general software development and bug fixes.
I wonder what it says in the VM-TiVo contract about urgent bug fixes.

Yep, its odd because at the start of using TiVo I had messages coming through now and then about using features of the service, but they should also be using the message feature to warn customers about serious issues.

Re: All series links show no planned recordings!?
To read this thread you'd think that series links on the V+ boxes were flawless. I've had loads of series links that have missed episodes or stopped working completely and had to be re-set on my V+ boxes.

But people weren't paying £3 extra per month on V+ HD (not XL customers anyway).

Lets not jump to kneejerk conclusions as the tivo is a very fine box but quite clearly there is a problem and if l righty remember did not Skys box have a problem back along.

Re: All series links show no planned recordings!?
It is a pain but whilst they are resolving the issue - if you go to recording hiccups you can re-record the programmes that 'are no longer in the guide' - select the 2nd option - i think it says more recording options and you can record it from there.
a pain I know but I did them in one go so at least I know Im ok for a few days whilst the issue is fixed
