Pay as you go Problems

I have been using Virgin pay as you go for many years and a couple of months ago I started using the £15 Addict Tariff. Last month June no problems, I topped up on 1st July but did not get any allowances. So I phoned CS and was told I had to make the payment the previous month. I did not notice this when I changed to this tariff. Any way I was told as I was £22 in credit so I could buy a bundle for 1Gb of internet connection for this month only which is wanted. I could live without the text.
Later that day I received a text saying your 1GB bundle is set up, we’ll take the next payment from your account on the 01/08/11. So I’ve had to phone CS again to say I don’t want it every month just this month as I was told I could have. I was told that the bundle was cancelled from next month and I got a text say the bundle has been cancelled.
I checked today to check my balance and found that I had no Internet allowance and had been charged for internet connection. But I was still charged the £5 for the bundle.
I have now been on the to CS for the last 15 minute trying to explain all this and I think I’ve finally got it sorted I have now got my 1GB of connection but I haven’t got my refund for the connection I was charged yet, which I was told I would. I asked if could be refunded for the last 2 call I had to make to CS but she could not understand or made out she couldn’t.

Is there any way you can get a UK customer service as I would like to complain, but it takes so long to explain to these off shore call centres you have to repeat over and over again and it’s like banging your head against a wall. Ok the mistake was mine to start with, but the imfomation I was given was wrong.

Re: Pay as you go Problems

You are better off calling in the morning if you want to have a better chance of getting hold of the UK call centre.
