Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
The Mrs and Osem Jnr #1 flew out to Slovakia very early this morning and I've just heard from them to say that, after a few enjoyable hours sightseeing in Bratislava, they've finally arrived safely at her home town. It's Osem Jnr # 1's first trip overseas and the wife hasn't been back for over 4years so whilst I wish I could have been there with them I'm hoping they're going to have a really lovely time and rebuild some of her broken family links in the next 10 days.
Due to the fact that we can't take him abroad, myself and Osem Jnr #2 will be mainly at home trying to have a damned good time of our own* and trying not to worry too muich about them.
(the good news is he can't incriminate me when they return.... )

Cheers. I'll be doing my best to make sure Osem Jnr #2 has a few treats to make up for the fact that he misses out on so much...

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
I have my own domain and I have managed to add a email box to it an link it to my HTC email so I can send and recieve email on my HTC via that account.
Only took me two hours of wanting to throw both Lappy and HTC out of the window.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Just got back from a weekend on the south coast celebrating one of my step-sister's 50th Birthday.
Weather was Mediterranean, B&B was amazing. Owners had two 1950s Porsche 356s, one coupe one cabriolet, & a 1960s E-Type convertible.
Party was at the Marine Bar Milford on Sea, stunning views over the Solent to the Needles...

I'm so pleased they got off alright, I seem to remember you were a bit concerned about their flight Osem Just a pity you couldn't have gone with them ............
..........and what do you plan to get up to that is going to be incriminating, may I ask?
My happy thought, we are off to St Ives today by train. It's a beautiful day, and I'm hoping to get some inspiration for the photo of the month comp!

Thanks Tinky, yes it's a pity but c'est la vie. As for what I'll be getting up to, well probably not a lot sadly but then you never know.....
Hope your trip works out well - it's beautiful today here in London too so lets hope you get loads of great pics to share.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
I decided to call the hospital in regards to the blood tests on the baby and all is well. So I am over the moon now and also the health visitor has just weighed the baby and he is now 8lb 15, so he has put on just over 3lb in just 6 weeks?
