MS Outlook Address Book

I am shortly changing my computer & am currently using MS Office 2003 but will be changing to MS Office 2007 or 2010 whichever I can get the best deal on. How do I copy my current contacts/address book in Outlook 2003 onto a memory stick & download it onto my new version of Outlook.
I'm unsure which file contains the contacts/address book.

You can do a single export of your PST to include all of your contacts

Thanks Kymmy. When I connect up my new computer how do I get that copy of my contacts onto it.
Also can I copy all of my current email folders using the same method.
Sorry to be a pest but it's all a bit new to me as I have had my last computer for 8 years.

The PST file will already have your emails and folders.. When you install outlook it'll create a default PST file.. you then have two ways.. either import the data from your old PST file or add it as a new data file (you'll need to them make it default and then delete the emtpy default one if you don;t want to use it)

Also you may want to copy the details for your accounts and also export any rules you have. You'll need to enter all the accounts in as I don't think outlook has an account export on it (that is your pop/smtp/username/password settings unless there is a tool out there)

As for copying it across to the new PC either use online storage, network or a simple solution is use data storage on your phone/digital camera..etc.. to copy it all across.

One thing to do aswell is export your email account set-ups from with in outlook.

They dumped it in 2007 and 2010.

PC's are a million different things that can be configured a few million different ways.. even I must only know a small percentage of it all and I worked with them for 15+ years..

It's one of the reasons why forums are so great is that someone somewhere will be able to help..... Glad you're sorted
