Steak for me too, but surely all those takeaway favourites should be in the list? Fish & chips, burger, pizza, kebab?
And should we worry about gazzae who voted for "None"?

You've just spoiled a cut of meat. If a steak doesn't bray when I stick the fork in it's overdone.

Re: What is your favourite meal.
Favourite food depends on the mood, I like lots of those choices.
Curry - proper home style not the greasy ghee rich stuff too common in restaurants. Boiled rice or roti, dhal, onion and tomato salad. (Goat curry -- mmmm!)
Roasts - beef and lamb (and duck) nice and rare, hasselback cut roasties, veg with some squeeck not boiled into submission.
Steak - very blue, some thick cut chips and salad.
Noodle soups - lovely
Game - pheasant, partridge, rabbit, grouse, venison, boar it's all good. Cooked to suit the cut, had nice muntjac saddle roasted wrapped in bacon.
Pasta - use good quality pasta with enough rich sauce to coat and flavour, 750g of mince should make enough bolgenaise for 10 or more people easily.
Jerked food is nice.
Salad can be good too.
Sos and mash but again need good quality sos. Boerwors with pap is the South African version. Need a rich tomato sauce to go with.
I don't think there is any type of food I'd want all the time. I like variety but would tend to more seasoned foods.

I've had colleagues move away from me eating steak as it was so rare it made them feel unwell.

I would rather my steak Moo or Baaaaaaaa.
Given the choice of meal though I will always opt for an All Frills Roast especially if it's cooked by someone else.

Re: What is your favourite meal.
A medium-rare fillet steak, sauteed field mushrooms, grilled tomato and 2x cooked fries.
Or... a close second is a Full English (with no beans, hash browns or sauasage of any kind), grapefruit, orange juice, cereal, toast, tea and more more toast and tea.
And good company. Oh and a nice view.

Re: What is your favourite meal.
I really need better glasses. I clicked other as I couldn't see a cooked dinner then noticed roast after my vote.
Love cooked dinners which are the best ever. Feeling hungry now.
