The reason I switched to VM!
I'm quite pleased with the choice of channels atm. Just could do with Sky Atlantic - Ho Hum!

It won't come until they have enough sport to warrant it.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2011) Vol. III.
Media Boy EXCLUSIVE: Current TV to be XL only from next week.
From Tuesday 7th June at 6am non XL Package viewers will lose Current TV from they lineup.
NOTES:
1) Current TV is broadcasting right now to viewers on M+, L and XL on Channel 155.
2) From June 7th only XL viewers will get this channel.
=== Ask Media Boy ===
Q: WHY IS VIRGIN MEDIA REMOVING CURRENT TV FROM MY PACKAGE?
A: I do not know - I think Virgin has sign an new deal with Current TV and maybe they ask Virgin to move them to the XL Pack.

No news on Premier Sports coming to Virgin Media at my end. But someone posted on Cable Forum (I think the best web site on the web) that Premier Sports was meeting with Virgin Media but that was weeks ago.

I know that it has been removed from SKY ITALIA due to the owners speaking out against SKY. They could be looking to re-coup the money

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2011) Vol. III.
Found this below , could this mean a new BBC HD channel , I know this is satellite specific but do the VM BBC feeds come off satellite ?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/bbcintern....html#comments
Speculation on DS says it could be used for Wimbledon finals in 3D short term.

VM gets it's BBC HD channels feed direct via fibre, not satellite.

Right wasn't sure of that , I think if the Wimbledon Finals are shown on the BBC HD channel in 3D this should be available on all platforms though.

Just a thought, but if you have a TV with Freeview, which most come with now, could you not use the TV's tuner for red button things until it gets added to Tivo?
