Losing wireless connection

Since I got my Super Hub with 30mb a few months ago, at least once a week I loose my wireless connection. No problem with the wired connection. I have to turn the hub off leave for about 30 seconds then back on again.
As it's normaly only once a week I've been living with it, but I've been wondering should I get it sorted. It's just a pain having to get time off for a engineer or would they just send me a new hub?

Re: Loosing wireless connection

What are your wireless settings? Is it still on 300 or have you already lowered it to 145mb? Some people find that it stops the drop outs.

Agreed, also consider installing InSSider or similar as an aid to manually configuring the optimum wireless channel.

The Hub's auto setting doesn't appear to do what it claims from my experience.

From anecdotal reports auto locks onto the most congested channel!-Entirely the opposite of what it should do!

Re: Loosing wireless connection

I've just dropped it to 145. I know nothing about routers. Do I have to re-boot the hub?

Yes if it didn't do it automatically as every other router would have done!

Why do you have a VM logo wiping out a Dalek?
