MATV ceases broadcasting
I know Media Boy has already broke this news , but why do so many companies remove their channels from the VM platform and others never appear on it

Agreed but what about MTV Classic , there was another Asian channel Zing removed , Tiny Pop and there are numerous channels that are available on freesat that are not available on VM the likes of CBS.
A good list from jameseh shows some of the many missing channels

Re: Another leaving VM
As the channel actually closed on the 19th May it appears to have already left.
Also the title does not reflect the subject matter.
Already in this thread. http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/35242528-post1.html

Thought you'd have a more constructive answer to why MATV , Zing , MTV Classic , Tiny Pop have all been removed from the EPG and why VIACOM have to take channels off and add others instead of adding the lot.

I think the simple answer to this is that they thought that they were not commercially viable on the VM platform
