Cancelling Multi-room box..Advice?
Hi, As you may or may not know in my house we have multiroom.
Samsung V+ box downstairs and SA V+ box upstairs (in my room).
For the past year I have been thinking of getting the Humax Foxsat HD box. Im picking this up tomorrow and will be having an installer instal a satellite dish for me.
Anyway, I want to cancel my upstairs box, Will I just phone them and they will cancel it straight away or do they have to have a months notice first?
I will be saving £6.50 from my bill if I cancel multiroom and will just be having Freesat upstairs and Virgin Media downstairs.

usually 30 days notice is required. VM will arrange a pick-up just after the 30 days has cleared.

Not sure an extra STB requires 30 days notice. It's only full service disconnection that does.
Additional boxes are like package upgrades in that you have to have had them for 30 days, after that they can be disconnected immediately (unless they are part of a recontrating bundle)
