I have that version and it didn't do that when I programmed my new 600. Therefore I don't think two things are connected
Good to know, though. At least they seem to being acting on advice from their users.

Excellent. Means they finally incorporated my added commands

Re: The Harmony remote thread
Having forgot to map the 'clear' button to my Harmony One remote, I reverted to the original TiVo remote this morning to delete a folder from the my shows menu.
The original remote is so much faster when srcolling through the menu screens! Has anyone noticed this, or better still found a way to solve it?

Re: The Harmony remote thread
So is it just a case of putting up with the sluggish response from the Harmony or revert to the VM TiVo remote?

Re: The Harmony remote thread
The Harmony will never be as fast as the original, it is also sluggish with my 360 but you can change some settings under trouble shooting to make it slightly better like remove the inter key press delay.

Re: The Harmony remote thread
I'd put up with a sluggish Harmony rather than having to keep 5 different remotes on the table and try to pick up the correct one

I have a 555 and think it's great. I was even tempted to get a higher spec Harmony purely because of the slow response on it but after reading the comments I'm disappointed that even that will not cure the problem.
Looks like I'll carry on pressing buttons slowly with my trusty 555 and thanks to all for saving me £100+

Re: The Harmony remote thread
Don't get me wrong I have both a 525 and a One and love the One its build quality is excellent and the layout is very nice. I would love to replace the bedroom 525 with a One as well.

Re: The Harmony remote thread
I had the 525 for years until it died on me a month or so ago.

Re: The Harmony remote thread
Ok, after reading this thread and the fact that my TIVO remote keeps getting hogged by the kids and SWMBO I went and got a harmony 600 (on offer at Bestbuy at the moment for £39.99, which seemed a good price). Only problem is that i can not set it up for the TIVO at all!!! It wont recognise the CT8685 at all, just says it is not recognised, and does not recognise VM Tivo either? Anyone got any ideas what else to try???? PLEASE!!!!

Re: The Harmony remote thread
When I tried it I didn't have a problem. Just checked and worked
This is what I did
In the harmony software - devices tab - add device
device - cable satellite box - cable box
manufacturer - Cisco
model - CT8685
click next
next again (confirm want to turn off)
next again (tell it it's a tivo)
next again
click done & it should be there

Re: The Harmony remote thread
There certainly shouldn't be a problem with the 600 'cos I have one here and it works perfectly

Re: The Harmony remote thread
Looks like there are two ways to set them up!!! I used the online/web browser based one first and that does not show the Cisco or Tivo box at all. So now just downloading and installing what looks like a stand alone prog. So hoping that will have a different outcome!!!

Re: The Harmony remote thread
Ahh. Right. Yes. I always use the software not the on-line version. Sorry for the confusion
