Question What is you main STB at home

With a lot of people interested in upgrading to Virgin's TiVo, what at present is your main Set Top Box (STB) that you have at home?

I upgrade last April from an old Pace box to V+, which happened to be a Samsung!

Re: What is you main STB at home

It used to be the SA V+ but now it is the TIVO box, Still got the V+ box but I have not used it since having the TIVO installed. The kids use the SA V+ the most.

My first poll question, should have had SKY, Freeview and Freesat categories as well.

Probably wrongly I just assumed that most people on this forum had cable as their main STB

I have S/A V+ but probably will upgrade to TiVo once it gets Red Button services and the niggles are sorted.

Re: What is you main STB at home

Big old V+ box, the one that looks like a re-badged TV-Drive.

While I can appreciate that some people are wowed by the UI of Tivo, I'm more interested in the content rather than the way it is delivered or described, and so have no real desire or need to upgrade to Tivo.

Re: What is you main STB at home

V+HD box does all we need. No point in us getting tivo as the extra features will never get used and to be honest we hardly record anything anyway.

One and only STB is Freesat+ HD after dumping Sky+ two years ago.
