I am sure that with all the resources BT have that will not be long in arriving. Infinity will help in that area.

I have just checked my On Demand service and I have to say that Essay has obviously been working very hard today. I now have 11 pages of What's New, none of which are duplications. There must have been an awful lot missing because now there are several programs listed that I would like to watch.

Thank you very much Essjay, you will be making a good few customers very happy.

I hate to be a downer, but will this happen again come June 1st or have you nailed the problem?

You seem to be in the minority DF. Most VM Staff who have been involved have obviously found the problem too taxing and have instead focused their attention on people who need replacement remotes.

No one yet has stuck with us and seen it through to the resolution- I hope Essjay can help.

No fix here

I just tried rebooting both boxes, but What's New is still full of duplicates (8 pages of dupes). In What We're Watching the Classic FA Cup and Disney Junior Boxset folders are completely empty and there are still missing programmes like Planet Earth in other menus.

l think BT has a awful long way to go to catch even Virgin up tv wise.

They only offer freeview , Sky sports and ESPN but there OD content is much better than TV Choice OD , when I had it we used it a lot.

A big thanks to Essjay who discovered that the entire database on my headend was corrupted. Not sure how no one at Virgin discovered this for 3 months, but I'm grateful that there's someone knows what they're doing!

A lot of the problems are now fixed. What's New no longer has any duplicates and the What We're Watching folders all seem to be fixed.

Unfortunately there's still content missing from the BBC folder. Planet Earth, Mighty Boosh and League of Gentleman for example. I can't tell what else might be missing, as there's no way to see what should be there.

Interestingly, as I suspected this also fixed the problem with TV Choice menus freezing on TiVo (fault 1596460). EXCEPT on the BBC menu and cetain places in the A-Z (everything past J-K-L). Seems to me that these are the menus which still have missing content? Could be a coincidence but I hope someone at Virgin will take note of this information.

So a big improvement, but still some more left to fix.

It's improved but there is still content missing, most clearly in the BBC folder. Planet Earth, Mighty Boosh and League of Gentlemen I know are missing.
