It is otherwise known as a reaching stick. Only problem is I had to upgrade to a longer stick when we moved the chair further back.

Tivo does that, but i find all three tuners being used quite often, so the question is, what does it do when it hasn't any free tuners or can't find repeats?

For me that has never happened. I do not record that much, only programs that clash or I cannot watch, that is why I do not need TiVo.

They repeat them on ITV2, then ITV3, then ITV4. Lets hope they do not set up more channels

ITV 2 is IMO the worst for doing that, but all channels are doing it now.

Smart TV's,etc are certainly going to add choice to the viewer in the near future. VM have positioned themselves well though.

So, in the event of there not being all these repeats, does anyone know how a dynamic EPG would handle the situation I outlined?

Not a clue pal , I always check my recordings and make sure there's no clashes , my Sky+ app tells me alternative airings for all shows , so I just set it to record at a time it won't clash.
