going to PAYG - please help me before i slit my wrists

Hi friends,

About 3 weeks ago I cancelled my broadband and asked to be transfered over to the Pay as you Go dialup service so I can keep my email. The lady said I needed to ring back in about 2-3 weeks time because she couldn't do anything then because they were updating their systems.

I call up today to the customer service number 0800 052 2000, get trasfered to some other number, then get transfered to some other number, then trasnfered to 0800 052 0511, then get transfered back to customer services, then get transfered to 0800 519 0100 (which isn't working). I've now just given up and am almost in tears (I'm hungry and all tensed from my University assignments and from the perils of this customer service)

All I want is to be transfered over to the PAYG service. That's it. I no longer live in a NTL area because I've moved, and so have cancelled broadband but need to keep my email.

Can anyone please help me?
