Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2

Recording loads of stuff from Sky Movies HD fills up the disk space pretty quickly as well. I'm building up quite a nice library of films here.

I can see there would not be a widespread demand for the feature though.
Well, I'm intrigued (or just nosey- take your pick). What sort of programmes do you appear on?

Can anyone give any more info on the cost of the smaller TiVo when this is a second box.*
The activation fee for existing users is supposed to be £49 + £40 install and I believe that the £3 per month is by account not each box.

Perhaps one of the VM staffers could confirm?

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2

The monthly fee is per account for definate

The briefs say the the first 500GB TiVo would cost £49.95 and further 500GB cost £99.95 (Plus install). It's not exactly clear the situation if you already have a 1TB TiVo as to which price applies.

Mainly live and pre-recorded interviews on news and consumer affairs programmes - nothing too interesting i'm afraid!

I'd ring again. I had 2 1TB Tivos installed with no problem.

Yes. Pretty much why I decided to replace both V+ boxes at the same time as I knew I'd end up replacing the bedroom one fairly soon anyway.

Well that's not strictly true since I have 2 x 1TB ones at the moment and I know several others with the same. Maybe though there's less of the 500 ones about so they are limiting them to 1per household - which may mean that if you have one of either size they're not letting you have a second in the 500 version?
