Tivo Optical Out

I can't get this to work. There doesn't seem to be any settings to enable it.

Do i need to do something special?

No, I don't think so. It worked straight away for me, but I didn't see what the engineer did.

It should be active all the time. Can you see the red LED on inside the socket? (You might need to carefully open the cover with a small screwdriver or similar). You may also be able to see the red light if you look at the amp end of the fibre - this also confirms the fibre isn't broken.

If the LED is on, try changing the Dolby setting in the Settings->Audio menu.
