TiVo Youtube app: Not showing favourites and playlists - Page 2

Just tried this myself - no favourites, no playlists, no subscriptions and no point going through the hassle of entering your username and password until this app works properly.

l have tried to get my playlist and other things to show but to no avail at the present time.

Add me to the list as well! No playlist or favourites! What a poor doo this is for a "premium" product costing Â£149 and Â£3 a month!!!!

Do any non PC based YouTube services provide such functonality.

My TV dosen't, it's just a watered down service.

Sony S370 BR player shows both your playlists and favourites.

It will allow you to add to favourites but not add to or create playlists.

I have a Sony TV, i'm not sure of the model number off the top of my head but it dosen't seem to be able to use favourites, i'll have a look, maybe it's just me. It obviously isn't a BR player so maybe it's different.

If it can though it begs the question why Tivo being the most advanced DVR ever made cant!

See here: Not VM fault its the app developers fault/TiVo for not sorting it. Been a problem in USA for ages:

Thanks for that link.

Good and bad news.

I followed the advice and added a description and a tag into the playlist and playlists are now there.

Bad news is they play the first video and don't follow on with the next, so useless as a playlist.

Not got any favourites though.

Considering my sony BR player can do this without all this faffing about adding descriptions, and it plays playlists properly, I think VM need to sort this one out.

I had to speak to faults today on something and thought I'd mention this isssue. They said it was a known issue and was being looked at but they didn't have a estimated resolve date.

TBH, not a biggie for me, but it will be good when it's sorted.

Now that TiVo's customer numbers are going up (via deals with Virgin and other European cable companies), surely there will be more pressure on TiVo to get stuff like this sorted out.

I had this but I was only missing the favourites (although I don't have any playlists on youTube) and found the solution on the link provided a few replies up.

Look through your videos and remove any that are no longer available. I had 2 older videos that had been removed from my favourites list. Once I'd removed them using my computer my favourites all showed up on the Virgin TiVo box :-)

I did that also, I removed the duff ones but they still dont show up. Also the playlist shows up with 4 videos ini it but no videos are there when you go into it.
