That's why I asked VirginMediaPhil his opinion of the pq yesterday, because I know that despite his user name he is very unbiased. What annoys me are the ambulance chasers who are not going to get tivo in the near future but jump on any negative comments and ignore the positive. Or they say they must work for Virgin Media.

More positive comments people want simple things sorting is that to much to ask
These series link problems , with epg data affect the US TIVO also , so I'm not blaming VM

There are not problems with TiVo, there are differences to V+ that people aren't happy with but these are not problems.

Read my post again. Where did I say more positive comments? I'm saying that we shouldn't shoot people down or say they must work for Virgin Media just because they post positive comments. Again look at the poll results and explain to me why positive comments are unwelcome. Of course there are things that need to be sorted and the more people who post and complain about them the better

I don't know anyone who is. I certainly aren't. Unless you can link to a post where I have ever said that there are no problems with it.

Look what ever you feel my agenda is on here I can assure you it's not to trash TIVO all I'm stating is that some of the pro TIVO camp want you to believe the product is perfect when clearly it's not. I would like the product fixed ASAP the same as you , I have a contract with Sky for another 11 months but who knows after that , I would consider a then working TIvO.

l am very happy with the tivo box but there are a few things to be sorted out for future updates and also lets hope they do not move at a snails pace with these updates.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
Spoke to virgin TiVo team this morning they are brainstorming issues and collecting customers thoughts. They also read the forums but welcome anyone to call up and ask to speak to TiVo technical support. I gave lots of feedback most of which is posted here but I think it would be worth people ringing in and giving feedback. They said the more that give feedback the more likely things will be changed.

You need to go in to your series links in Recordings menu, and then you can change the order of priority there.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
I've read enough comments on here to put me off having it at the moment, whether they are faults, operational annomallys or hardware failure, you would want much better feedback from the people that are using it day in day out before you would shell out £190 + £3 a month subscription.

A good idea would be to go to your local Virgin Media Store and ask for a demo.
Forums by their very nature will attract the negatives, so you need to make an informed decision based on your own experience of the product.
