ASsuming this will update once the box loads etc over the next 24hours?

Couldn't agree more about all the menu screens being HD. It makes the whole UI look unfinished when you're reverting to SD menus all the time.

Although it would be better if they were all in HD, the SD ones don't bother me. They're information screens after all and are perfectly legible to me, so don't see it as a massive issue.
I do wish there was room for the full channel info on the My recordings scren though; often it cuts off and you don't know if it's CH4 or CH4HD, without pressing 'info'. If making them HD would fix that, then I agree with you.

We have an outage on the EPG Catch-up links at the moment. Should be restored after the Bank Holiday.

Same here. Will certainly be better looking once TiVo update those screens, but as you say they are perfectly functional.

Okay, I'm not going to bore people with the details that basically are only relevant to me, but everything is fine now and everything will be set up as planned.

Glad you are all sorted now. If the tech doesn't get back in touch over the relocation of the V+, then call Customer Care and they should be able to re-arrange it for you.

Yes. Sorry My point was that people are complainig that they can't go back 7 days when they don't have more than 7 days-worth of data.
However, I can understand their confusion in that why isn't the past 7 days-worth of programmes available seeing as they are already there

Just saw this on DS is there any truth in it?

I phoned yesterday to order the 1tb Tivo, it was suggested that I call back tomorrow (Sunday) as there is a better offer to be had. Anyone?

Doesnt the box download the epg data for last 7 days or does eachh day have to pass before you can go back to it?

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
This is the point. I always thought it only downloads data forward of the day of your install; i.e. the latter. Others seem to assume the former. And, with all due respect, it seems that I am right

If there is a BETTER offer available than the free install offer given to all the pre-registered people who were promised a treat for their patience then I for one will be annoyed.
