no one is pinpointing you - at no point did I specifically mention you, there's plenty of people who post Sky v Virgin comments on here.

Very well said, But I just want to add that I am thankful for all the staff on here. Also MB and others that go out of their way to try to help with the info that they are able to get or able to say.

Very valid point Spiderplant has helped loads on here with problems , BenMcr has helped me with a few billing issues , and Masque has a sense of humour so a big Thankyou to them anyway back to coming soon.

Surely as they are the two big pay tv providers it's only natural to compare sky to virgin, just as you'd compare Tesco to Morrisons etc

Agree completely, they don't have to help anybody on this forum. It shows how dedicated they all are to their company!

Now back to the thread, sounds a silly question but is there a preferred time of the year to launch new channels? In relation to the opposite I would say would be is the Summer with least impact!

Not too sure the seemed to launch the sporadically over the year

( then there was the main SKY HD launch ). So I think it is anyones guess

l have never had a go at DF or MB on this forum as if l do have a go it is at Virgin poor communication and vague press releases.
As far as l am concerned this forum is all about opinions, debate and seeing what people are discussing and talking about.

It's also good for a good bit of gossip about what might be round the corner. It's usually pretty well informed gossip as has been proven time and time again so we really shouldn't complain if the rumours are scotch mist.
