Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2

I had TiVo installed this afternoon, but am having a problem with the on demand menus.

If I go to TV Choice, By Channel, BBC I can scroll down through the first two pages of shows (down as far as Louis Theroux) but when I try moving to the third page it freezes up for ages and then eventually says there are no programmes available. It does the same thing for 4 on demand.

I've tried rebooting the box but still the same problem.

I think you'll find it's now £6.50. I'm the same. DF did say there would be other offers for us current multiroom users, but not heard anything yet.

Maybe you should give it more time for the data to update?

My OD from EPG is also now working like a charm! I think changes have been made to the service today.

Happy camper here.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2

Just been messing about with catch up from the EPG and to my surprise I was offered the option to "watch from catch up" (or something to that effect). I selected this option and could then select "watch". I quickly exited to try another channel and this also worked. However when I tried a different program yet again I got "on demand is not available at the moment". Tried again and now all requests are back to "go to catch up..."

Could it be that a fix is being tested?

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2

Well I dont know whats happened here, maybe someone can explain it to me.
I`m watching the Arsenal game on ssp1, I`m recording midsomer murders and also set it to record a film called Crimson Tide at 9pm. 1 minute to 9 a box popped up on the footy telling me that it was changing channels to the film I`m recording, which I dont want it to.
It gave me the option to cancel the recording of crimson tide which I didnt want so I let it auto change channels and start recording and then switched back to the footy.
Looking at the front, there were 3 red lights on and when I checked to see what the 3 recordings were, the 3rd one was michael mcintyre which I didnt set, weird

by the way, does anyone have channel logos on their guide or on the my shows screen? I thought they would be there but none as yet for me?
I didn't have the logos at first. Reset the box using the onscreen menu and there they were. I have to admit this little feature is one of my favourites. I did wait 24 hours before trying just to give the box some time to get it's initial downloads out of the way though.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2

Sorry if this has been answered before but how do I enable the ordering of the new TiVo box with the Sky Premium HD channels? When I select the HD Sky channels it says I need a V HD or V+ HD box?

Are you selecting XL for your TV package? The 1TB version of TiVo requires you to be on XL.

Looks like a website fault, I'd order it without the HD and then ring up for the HD afterwards. For some reason if I click on that thumbnail Norton says it's a malicious website and won't let me access it...

I see what you mean, just tried this myself and I get the same message.

This is one for VM staff, I think.
