Today, conflicting info: yes you can have it, but only if we phone you as it's a surprise! (but I'll be at work tomorrow, won't be able to receive a phone call.)

I love it when VM say this, don't they realise that most people are at work during the day, I asked if they could phone me on my mobile, nope not possible, they would only call me on my VM landline, which due to call forwarding not being available in my area would mean it would be unanswered

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
any news on offers for those of us that already have multi room and are simply having one box replaced with Tivo? DF hinted at some kind of offer but I wonder if anyone has actually had anything offered?
At this point it seems that people wishing to go multi room are benefiting from the free extra box offer but nothing (as yet) for people such as myself who paid £200 to activate 2 boxes only a few months ago.

Will be phoning up first thing tomorrow morning to try to get that sorted.

I had mine moved today all stuff working so far but installer did say it should only be v-hd box not v+ move and the record function could go off

Well, a selet few who want to go multiple room are benefitting. Those who VM select and not others as if you miss the call there is no way to get the offer others are getting. Unfair!

Can someone confirm this is not the case. I'm under the impression that a V+ move to another room is just that. No loss of function. If I loose the functions I'll be a really angry person indeed.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
I asked about this losing functionality on the v+ box when it was moved to other room many pages back and DF assured me that I shouldnt. I hope not, getting tivo installed tomorrow and box getting moved. Mrs wont be very happy if we do lose the record side.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
Free multi-room offer: yes/no/maybe
Well, that's someone from the TiVo team just off the phone. The latest version of the offer is that it is only to random customers who receive a phone call, and as I haven't had a phone call (except this one!), would I like to keep my V+ for £6.50pm. I don't really need it that much, so no thanks. But I will be a bit miffed if it later turns out I should have been one of those included in the offer.
