Ring up and get the install confirmed. Unfortunately the date given online is not being kept to for most people. It wasn't for me.

Yes, I know that's not exactly what you posted but my point is that it hasn't really been "a fiasco" at all. They simply had far more pre-reg's than expected; at which point, maybe things got little hairy is all.
I must say that i think Virgin, so far, could have done things a lot better. Some aspects seem very chaotic and would describe certain fiasco's from experiences over the week.
Mis (non) communication seems a massive problem within Virgin when dealing with the Tivo.
If they have the boxes to provide us with (which seems they do). Surely they should expect the interest.
The emails have also been poor.
Having said that, so far i have been on the 'other' side and recieved some excellent customer service.

Or pm a Virgin rep on the VM community forum. They can provide you with your install date if you give them your house number and postcode.

Thinking about it audio over HDMI is part of the standard, it must work right?

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2

I still can't view catchup directly from the EPG. Also doing a search does not find catchup shows. There are lots of annoyances at the moment. Also the BBC stuiff HAS to be viewed through iPlayer, rather than through normal catchup. I hope VM are reading this forum.

Yeah obviously no BBC stuff but no program has, every one with the "c" take me to the top level of the OD menu.

Also I can't get to OD content via search?

I have the same problem. The BBC stuff like has been said before is down to the BBC Trust not VM.

You know, I never thought of that. I just press the HOME button then the number

They expected some interest. Just not the 70k-ish pre-reg's they got

have you tried a quick double tap of ok to play the OD program. I've heard that one tap takes you to top level and 2 in quick succession takes you to the programme highlighted?

Nope still the top level, it's odd because this was changed on the code-drop before last.

so let me ask, whats the point of the OD on EPG? If it just takes you to top level than it really is a waste of a feature.

Unfortunately it isn't possible to test with every TV model, and occasionally incompatibilities arise. Can you be more specific about what the error message is, and what you have to do to make it work?

What model TV do you have?
