Cameron ever heared of telephone or video conference is bloomin jaunting off again
This time bloomin paris to talk to french president on libya this bloke only interested in his air miles.
Talk about wasting public taxpayers money never known PM to leave the country so much.
You got phone and video link to world leaders you dont have to go in person every five minutes.
Surely he should CURB it to while expects the rest of the country preach what you speak.

Its completely acceptable considering both parties involved are actively attacking Libya and being there they can discuss any amounts of things in private, The last I checked using a mobile phone as a top man in this country risks you being exposed to numerous things.
For example if the UK and France want to send ground troops or up the pressure its hardly something to be done over Mobile phone.

Another pointless partisan rant. I don't imagine for a minute that you would have started this thread if it were your favourite head boy Ed who was dashing about being all prime ministerial.

All leaders of note have encrypted systems where they can talk business. These things are VERY VERY secure and been used by leaders over the years to talk sensetive business. What makes cameron different to other world leaders in the past.
I suspect its another to make him look appealling to other world leaders using the personal touch calling in for tea and biscuits. He dont really need to go all over the shop but it makes him look powerfull if in person.
I would be shocked if he's spent more than week in the UK since he got the job. I literally never known a PM to go on so many trips this quick.

I'm afraid the OP is being a little naive. There's a reason why business meetings and political affairs are still conducted in person: there are all kinds of subtle signals which pass between the parties to any such meeting, links that have to be established on a personal level. Diplomats have known this ever since diplomacy was invented; only after such links have been established can you conduct business or political transactions long-distance with any degree of confidence, secure communications notwithstanding. In some cultures, it's also considered only polite to meet in person first.

Well DC hasn't tried to get his own plane(shared or otherwise) after a few months as PM.
Now who did that in 1998 - Blair Force One anyone?

Anonymouse you make a valid point just wish he would curb it a little while he forcing alot people into poverty.
I heared he even spent £400,000 on two escort JAGS gas gusslers when other PM had used previous vehicles. So why buy new Cars at those prices.
ITs one rule for us but carry on wasting for them. We are all in it together sounds complete sham.

On the other hand, what is conclusive is Jaguar's average 28.5mpg across its range. Depends what model HMG is using of course, but for the size and power, Jags are not quite the gas guzzlers some assume them to be.

A No 10 source insisted that, despite appearances, Mr Cameron did not have the exclusive use of two cars: He said: ‘The vehicles are supplied by the Metropolitan Police on a pooled basis, and he will be provided with different cars on different days.’

Once armour plated and bomb proofed you will lucky get 5mpg.
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/3385054/Ministers-burn-taxp%20ayers-cash-on-fuel-for-luxury-Jaguars.html
Basically its a sham now understand they need the armour plating he made that many enemies. Naturally would knock the MPG but what about buying Greener car if had to which would made the MPG more healthier. Would possibly accepted the change if that happened.
What exactly was wrong with the PM's car before. It still would been armoured hardly looked a banger rust bucket when seen.
Extravagence from the PM and conservative seems to hold no bounds while we told to Cut cut and more cut.
