Indeed. I have the XL pack with 160 channels. I'll bet I don't regularly watch content on more than a dozen of them.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2011) Vol. II.
Media Boy EXCLUSIVE: Sky Sports Red Button launch date revealed.
I can reveal that Virgin Media are set to launch the Red Button on Sky Sports for non-Tivo viewers on April 21st.
The Red Button for Sky Sports on TiVo will follow in July or August.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2011) Vol. II.
Is Virgin bringing out a new EPG at some point? I remember a few years go seeing a new style epg online with like boxes across the tv screen with channel logos etc and it looked very cool, it said if they got the go ahead it would be out in 2011.
Has that EPG been scrapped now for this new tivo style? and will that be added to all newer boxes at some point?
thanks

If you are thinking about the red epg that was going about i think that they have used this for the TIVO epg.

New EPG is on TiVo, but there is talk of the V-HD getting the TV Guide from TiVo. Nothing further announced though.

That would seem a sensible option.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2011) Vol. II.
I know VM want to eventually get us all on TIVO but will they swap my V+ box at some point even if its OK?

Because they are too old and technically incompatible with TiVo, nothing more or less than that. Same applies for the SD V Boxes
The V HD box was designed to be upgradeable to TiVo if required as it was introduced after the TiVo agreement was signed
