Tivo are also looking at an ipad app to stream from the tivo to watch anywhere.
Hope they do the same for Android tablets as well as I would then sale my ipad and not have 2 tablets at the same time........
Its like remotes for each device

Another apparently unintended consequence of the proposed on-demand syndication policy is that YouView, the joint venture hybrid television platform in which the BBC is an equal shareholder, will legally only be able to offer BBC programmes on demand on equivalent terms, otherwise the BBC risks challenge under competition law.
|
I was wondering about that, if YouView, a system supported by the Beeb, would have the same restrictions as imposed on TiVo regarding iPlayer access.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
Another question I have is around wish lists. Let's say I ask TiVo to record all the movies or programmes by a certain director. Would it automatically record these in HD when available, or is the same story as suggestions?

Not at the minute but I think DF said they were feeding this info back to TIVO as most customers want this.

Yeah it is mate I was looking for the ipad launch , I've seen it somewhere saying a timeframe. The profile would be a first for TIVO wouldn't it , I don't think even TIVO in the US use profiles for different users.
