Reading the article and the link to the article in Variety, that's how they've come to that price; £18 is almost half the price it cost you to go to the cinema. With a big screen TVs and a good home cinema sound system, watching at home has a lot going for it.
Sky's VOD rights situation just needs sorting out, and as quickly as possible.

Indeed.
Of course from most end users points of view it matters little how content is delivered.
It's what content ends up on the screen that matters.

Sorry to digress, what does that equate to storage of HD on a V+ box as mpeg2 HD is about 21+ hours record time on the 160GB hard drive?

I wouldn't have said that, Sony and Disney own FilmFlex and Sony is one of the backers of the plan.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2011) Vol. II.
This thread just seems to descend into a conversation about something completely different to the topic. Amps? Really?
I've said time and time again that something should change but, nothing.

I'm gonna redecorate the living room soon and not sure if we should go for wallpaper or just plaster and paint. What does everyone think?

Quite a few people on this forum may beg to differ - they have been waiting quite a while for them.

We are doing the same and going for paint, the trouble is I cannot get my wife to decide the colour, still discussing it a year later!
Back to topic, so looks like Sky Arts HD coming so some progress at least on the channels front, I do watch Sky Arts now and again for some of the concerts shown so will be using the HD channels. It would be nice to see the S*x Pistols in HD for one of their concerts, as has been shown before on Sky Arts!
