What's the difference between 11th April and 18th April? 7 days. So existing Pre-reg have an extra 7 days to get the install dates booked before other existing customers get a chance.

It's been extended to all existing customers in April, but Pre reg's get all the first installs, so anyone after is likely to be late May for installs.
any existing customers after April will have to pay install too.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
I already have two V+ boxes and a normal SD box on my VIP 50. What options do I have? Can I replace the SD box with the Tivo on this offer - and if so what would the cost be?

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
My parents have the old tv-drive and are still paying the £10/month so, perversely, the Tivo will end up being cheaper for them in the long run. May have to pop around and explain the benefits... :p

This thread reminds me very much of the Monty Python What have the romans done for us scene in The Life of Brian.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
Sorry if this has been asked already, but will taking TiVo affect my loyalty discount? I spoke to sales tonight to upgrade BB from 10Mb to 30Mb and was told I would lose my discount! This can't be normal surely!
Also, does anyone know anthing about the VIP Bundle on the VM site? Seems a good price, but sales told me that deal no longer applies! Again, would TiVo pricing just sit on top of this (ie £3 per month extra)?

Why shouldn't taking TiVo affect your Retentions deal?
TiVo is a service that isn't available anywhere else, so you should pay the going rate for it

The current VIP bundle prices will be the same for TiVo. One off fees will be more though

Live events aren't supported yet. They are likely to be added in a few months.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
Could of been a better idea to wait say 6 months for TIVO see if the price dropped and improvements to the service, features added etc etc....

Thanks for the replay, that answer has tipped me finally completely into the no camp for the short term to upgrade to TiVo as there are two excellent PPV boxing events coming up in the next couple of months!

I believe the 30meg BB email satated that 'normal pricing' must apply to get the upgrade.
I noticed that there was no such statement on the email we got last week.
People on the Tivo forum have posted that they didn't lose their loyalty discounts when the got Tivo and paid the £149 with free install.
