With a sideways glance at a certain person,
I am completely disillusioned today, United come back to win from 2-0 down, Chelski & Arsenal both draw, the Latics score at last and the Dale hold Brighton to a draw.
Jim.

It was good to notice that the Liverpool fans, whom most of, wanted Hodgson out, suffered to a team managed by him today. It must be a bittersweet feeling

I think its more important to 'Woy' that he beat us, I'm just gutted in general we lost
He wasn't a Liverpool manager, simple as that. From day one his body language was negative from the sidelines and it was even commented on today he spent more time in this one match in the technical area than in his time as manager for us.

Re: Football Season 2010/2011
Rooney gets a hat trick, Ref cocks up on the penalty, then ruins it by swearing at the camera, he will get away with that (again|)
He is a spoilt little ++,

I Agree. Give him at least a 10 match ban and a heavy fine!
He is bringing the game into disrepute.

I don't remember Didier Dogbreath getting that when he did the same thing last season.

That's because it was a UEFA matter. He got suspended for 3 or 4 Champions League games I think.

Re: Football Season 2010/2011
That's less than what was suggested above.

It is more than Rooney will get though. No one is seriously suggesting he will be banned for more than a handful of games and some of those will be suspended anyway.
Just checked. Drogba got a 6 match ban, with 2 suspended.
Incidentally I don't think he should be banned to be honest. He is an idiot and as a bad attitude. He treats his own supporters with more disrespect than anyone else though, and while swearing down the camera is stupid a fine would be sufficed.

Re: Football Season 2010/2011
Well it looks like its going to be two which is ridiculous. Had it been any other the player it wouldn't have got a mention, but because its Rooney its all over the papers and the FA have quite happily wilted under the pressure. It will be intresting to see how many managers, players and staff members get bans from now on for swearing when a cameras on them.

Two match suspension for Rooney subject to appeal:

Though if he appeals they'll probably up it...
