Can't see them bothering with the SA V+ doesn't seem worth it.

Stop it you tivo fanatics! At least it has a red button feature, it has industry leading SD picture quality and has served us very well for a long time.
Show some respect!
....and muppetman the Tivo box is no oil painting!

He has a Sky+HD box so I guess he doesn't care what the TiVo looks like.
Personally I think the SA looks pig ugly, and i've got one!

Maybe on the next series of Life on Mars they may ask can they borrow it. Must confess I had one of them however it was swapped out as it constantly rebooted itself.

We had one as well and everytime we tried recording two HD channels at once whilst watching a third and attempted to pause on that third channel - bang, it froze up!
It got replaced by a Samsung box which has had no problems ever since (just over a year later). Now got it in the bedroom as TiVo is downstairs. I think for the average customer who wants a recordable box the Samsung V+ is terrific, no complaints from me in the least. The SA box on the other hand........

Have we forgotten all about the Samsung Lock Problem that took up so much space on these forums? How quickly we forget!

Re: TiVo
DF. Are we looking at sometime next week for the e-mails to start going out?
I'm assuming it'll happen on the 30th to coincide with the media launch in London? Is that a reasonable assumption?

Yes, I'd expect them to start being sent then.
