That's a very sweeping statement - you probably meant to put "some of*" in between "after" and "their".....
(*as an existing customer who is on a good deal, and who knows others in a similar situation)

Has that pricing been officially announced? And, if it has why will we have to pay the 40 install when other people who paid for Tivo only paid 149, all in?

Ditto.
I did enter when that web page went live, but I haven't even got the 'you're not worthy of winning' email yet.
No lottery ticket. No email. But I got a flyer leafet through the letterbox this week, telling me about VM's services, despite me being a customer already.
Its like I don't exist or something.

It's the actual communication and method of the roll out that has been done badly and that damages an organisation's reputation and the trust of their clients in them.
In the work that I do we are probably at the other end of the spectrum, agonizing over almost every decision, immense risk registers covering various potential scenarios that could damage reputation and what we have in place to mitigate those risks. Strikes me that Virgin either don't have these or there was insufficient brain power behind their development.

Re: TiVo
Well I'm still here waiting for Tivo...... No email to say I didn't win, but equally no congratulatory phone call.
April is only just around the corner and we still don't have any official pricing confirmation. Surely they need to announce something very soon.

Your ordering email will contain the special pricing to you. You should get that before the end of the month.

VM are giving us 149 pounds if we take Tivo? Yep, I'm pretty sure that's it.
Not sure I can afford to replace both V+ boxes at that price.
