Can I Use a Second Box?
I've got a Virgin TV Subscription with a Sky Sports Package attached. My neighbour has the exact same Virgin Box as I do and doesn't use it, if I was to connect his box in my house using a splitter would I be able to view all channels I already have on this second box?
Thanks in advance.

No ... The card in the box is not attached to your subscription.

No chance, sorry.
You need a new multiroom box from VM with a new smartcard.

If your neighbour does not use the box, perhaps they should return it to Virgin Media and potentially save money on their TV subscription.

Perhaps it could be a box with the free 'M' package or they no longer subscribe at all. VM can be rather slow to collect boxes in those circumstances if they bother at all.
I guess it could be all manner of reasons really, eitherway it will not work for the purpose the OP enquired about.

Agreed. There are many reasons. Could be a VIP customer with a multiroom box that they don't use. In that case, the advice previously given is wrong and the reason for my use of the word 'potentially'.

Yes that could be right but of course could be considered a bit naughty if anyone did that and I am sure no one would even if they could!
