I'll stick some pictures up on here no problem when I get in from work. How easy is it to do that?

Indeed welcome to the forum.
It's very unfortunate you were accused of lying, especially by staff but remember you are only a customer!
Again, welcome.

Re: TiVo
If what you say is correct Bluemoon that you registered as a broadband only customer and were not a Series 1 TiVo owner, which is what you suggest from your original and subsequent posts, you still got offered TiVo ahead of VIP and Triple XL customers???
This flies in the face of the experience of everyone else on this and other forums so forgive me if I remain sceptical but please accept my apologies if somehow you have managed to get this ahead of the VIP's and Triple Xl Customers. Proof would of course be welcome.
Respectfully I think you're either trolling or your first few posts have given the wrong extent of the services you had when you registered. If you are telling the truth I suspect there will be some pretty annoyed VIP's etc.
Welcome to the forum all the same.

I got offered Tivo, i'm not a triple XL or VIP customer.
And never have been.
There are several people on DS (including carl.waring if anyone knows him) who dosen't have either tier of service and he definitely has Tivo although he was a S1 owner, there are others who haven't though.
When I got called the guy asked if I had S1 and when I said no he said it didn't matter all he seemed concerned about was that I had XL TV.

I think Carl Wairing is an S1 owner.
There are a few people that seem to be getting TIVO who dont seem to qualify for having it in advance of the general release. But, providing it's just the odd few, I'm not going to worry about it TBH.

I know but there are others who don't fit into any of those categories.
I don't, I am right at the end of my contract though if that makes any difference.
As you say it will sort itself out in time.

Hi Bluemoon
I believe you, for all VM's flapping about "no new customers" that doesn't seem to have taken into account how old a contract is, to them there is no difference between a 1 month customer and a 15 year customer, between one service and four.
DF... You're a very naughty boy, play nice with your new friend!

I'm out of contract so I don't think that is taken into consideration.

Re: TiVo
According to "Nialli's unofficial blog", there may be a 500gb TIVO on its way. Pricing mentioned in the blog suits me better, and will certainly be thinking of investing if the price listed is correct (or near abouts) when issued - if I don't with the raffle of course

Virgin are going to be launching a 500Gb TiVo box shortly, no dates yet but I'm reliably informed by Square Eyes that it will be £49.95 with the £40 install

Re: TiVo
1 TB box is £149 so only £100 difference surely for existing customers, new customers pay £50 more for either box I suspect but new customer pricing is not official yet I believe. £40 extra for install on both boxes except those of us who have pre-registered should get free install.

Sorry thought that blog price was for existing customers not new.
Perhaps VM want this leaked to help on the demand they have, as some customers wanting Tivo will be happy to wait until the lower cost box is launched.
Still want the 1TB box myself especially with my family who build up recordings they want to watch again and again!

Re: TiVo
It seems VM and Sky are copying eacother to some degree on capacity and types of box dosen't it.
I note Sky are launching a non PVR HD box next week for multiroom customers for £49, sounds familiar dosen't it!!
