wifi and ethernet connection at the same time?

Is it possible to have a wifi connection from the pc and ethernet at the same time if the wifi signal was coming from a different location?

I've not tried but I'm thinking IP confliction although the 2 would have a different IP address?

It's possible, but your PC will only use one to reach the internet at any time. It depends what you want to achieve with it basically.

I'm thinking if I had two internet connections on one machine, would I be able to increase total bandwidth availible on one machine?

I'm thinking if I say I connected my wifi to a hotspot via a dongle and had a ethernet setup on my machine, I could theoretically combine both to increase bandwidth for say a P2P download.

Not without some clever bonding hardware/software, Windows by itself can only use one internet connection at a time.

You might be able to steer some traffic to the non-default connection, using the ROUTE ADD command, but that still doesn't allow bonding, it may allow one connection to be used for a few heavy transfer destinations, and the other for normal traffic to be unimpeded.
