Lag on channels

Hi Guys

Wonder if anyone can help. Had VM installed yesterday for V+ HD, Phone and BB...so far services are great but just have a quick query about lag on the box.

Sometimes when you change the channel or press guide, home button on remote there is a delay and sometimes it freezes, then all of a sudden the buttons i pressed on the remote will go crazy on the tele.

does anyone else experience lag? does anyone know what causes it? could it be a fault on the box or signal levels in the cabinet?

We used to get it with sky, its not a major thing but sometimes it can be annoying.

thanks in advance, any info would be great.

Re: Lag on channels

VM boxes are slower at channels changing than sky. Its something you'll probably get used to.

Re: Lag on channels

Sometimes the boxes are slow at responding, so then all the presses you have made when its stuck all come at once.

What absolute nonsense my Samsung V+ is equally as quick as my SkyHD box at changing channels , the SA V+ box is slow.

Re: Lag on channels

Our Samsung V+ is generally pretty fast. If it's regular then I'd get Virgin to have a look at your box.
