to check your speed properly I think you have to download some big files..... info is on the forum somewhere, a search will bring oodles and oodles of info

Depends on the CMTS you are on .. should be about 3Mb if its been upgraded .. near 2 if not ..
That' s a bit slow ever way ..

No, the provisioning (and config files) for non-upgraded areas is 1mb upload. That result is perfectly spot on.

Here I am correcting VM staff.
3mbit if in uplifted area.
1mbit if not in uplifted area, I will do a gut guess you not in a uplifted area so thats a good speed test result.

From the looks of your speed test, you're not in an upgraded area, so your upload should be 1Mb, your result is perfect. Once upgraded 3Mb will be normal.

Indeed, its as I put in the very first post...
so assuming I havent yet been 'upgraded' is there anything I need to do?
Or will it simply auto-update itself over the course of time to the 3mb speed.
