Best way to switch VM PAYG to contract

I am using VM PAYG at momnet. I am looking at switch to VM pay monthly&Blackberry deal. I want to keep my old number. What is the best way to do? I need min disruption as I use the phone everyday to receive txt/call.

I cannot find answer from VM website.

Thank you in advance!

Re: Best way to switch VM PAYG to contract

It was actually such a simple thing!
I talked to a VM sales woman. I told her I wanted to keep min disturbance as I need the number everyday to receive call/txt. She said no problem. I was told the new phone (no SIM) will be delivered the next day and my number would be switched from PAYG to contract in the morning. What happened was the number was switched one day before phone delivery. There was no gap, great! I am quite enjoy my new contract, getting a lot of emails.....

Overall, I am happy about VM and I am going to switch my son's contract deal from Vodafon to VM when it is expired because I can call him for free.
