A question for those with STVHD or UTVHD on VM

I know when it started, STVHD carried a caption instead of the Daybreak programme - even though STV carried Daybreak.

Please can people confirm if STVHD carries:
1: a caption instead of Daybreak but does carry Lorraine
2: a caption instead of Daybreak and Lorriane
3: now carries both Daybreak and Lorraine

Also, Please can people confirm if UTVHD carries:
1: a caption instead of Daybreak but does carry Lorraine
2: a caption instead of Daybreak and Lorriane
3: carries both Daybreak and Lorraine

Thank you in advance

UTVHD is not available on Sky - STV is only addable so no EPG available.

STV HD does not carry ITV Breakfast but UTV HD does. The link below shows the caption that is broadcast from 0600 - 0925 on STV HD.

STV, UTV and Channel Television frequencies must broadcast ITV Breakfast (0600 - 0925) as they own the franchise for this Channel 3 timeslot but as far as I know HD simulcasts are not obliged to carry it.

It was a common misconception that TV-am and GMTV were merely programmes when in fact they were channels in their own right but of course the new ITV Breakfast is wholly owned by ITV plc as was GMTV eventually so the water is somewhat muddied now.

Re: A question for those with STVHD or UTVHD on VM

I've seen the 9.25am caption in the past on STVHD - but not around to check on screen at present at that time of the morning.

UTVHD is locked into Northern Ireland - so can not be viewed outside of their.

Many UTV HD viewers have confirmed it does indeed carry ITV Breakfast.
