Re: TiVo
As always, "separated by a common language" ...
My understanding, just from catching up on the past couple of weeks' posts, is that from a few weeks ago you could register your interest, from January you can order and, maybe, from March you can take delivery. I can't tell if CS actually said that the roll-out had been put back or if this is just an interpretation of "you can't have one until March" which was what we were expecting all along by my interpretation.
Happy New Year!!!

Re: TiVo
Its typical of Virgins track record as they string things out for as long as they can, lets see if they deliver tivo by the end of march along with the red button and more channels to replace the ones we have just lost.

I believe that January is the soft launch, aimed at staff and existing customers, then from late January to February they are going to start having TiVo demos in Virgin Media stores and then by March it will be available to all customers.

Would you prefer they do a full launch with out fully testing the systems and software involved then?

No, but what was the point of anouncing it in December if it wasn't ready and won't be available untill much later?

It is ready, they have started giving to some staff members. Announcing in December and making the launch in March wouldn't be that bad it's only 3 months. That to me is fairly normal for an announcement to launch.

They quite plainly announced that the TiVo would launch in December and not just to staff members.
