This is the (only) reason that I wont be upgrading to 100Meg, This feature doesn't exist at the moment.

Re: Virgin to give new Superhub out.
Hmm, that's a shame.
Has anybody produced a proper technical guide as to what the box is capable of? I understand it's a Cisco device, although I don't think that means we get any sort of IOS to play with. Boo hiss.

It is built by Netgear not Cisco it is the TiVo and the HD box that are built by Cisco.

Aaaaaah, I thought it was also Cisco. I didn't realise Netgear even did stuff like that.

Re: Virgin to give new Superhub out.
It's been said many times that VM are planning a firmware update sometime next year that will allow "bridged" i.e. modem-only mode. For now the best you can do is DMZ.

Re: Virgin to give new Superhub out.
I was angry & shocking to see my latest ebilling of £75 charge fee for my superhub. They told me over the phone it free of charge. I am not happy about it.

You were told earlier in the forum that it was chargeable and you would NOT get it free.

Re: Virgin to give new Superhub out.
Well when you started bragging about getting it free we all told you otherwise. Should have stuck with the equipment you already had.

Re: Virgin to give new Superhub out.
You don't get 28 days, that's only if you take out a new service, not for a router order or an upgrade. You normally get 7 working days as per the distance selling regulations.
