Hi Everyone's.
Merry Xmas once again. Anyway at today's roast dinner with friends met this guy who's one of the manager at customers support and works with software. He told me that he's getting TiVO installed in his house next week and that someone in his team has been working on TiVO and that at the moment is not that good. Software is far from being ready. Just 2 tuners and not news on to have the 3rd one. Lots of imperfection yet and too deer.
He said he'll go out to customers at the end of January and not to get it just yet but wait maybe till next summer when will be the Thing!
He also promised me he'll let me know if there are new improvements.
Anyway he told me is a very good product...when ready.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010) Vol. IV
Adverts airing this morning saying Sky Atlantic HD is free and exclusive to Sky customers - so yet again Virgin viewers in the second division with HD!
That over hyped Virgin home to HD, and a promise of sky basics in hd coming to Virgin as believable as Santa!!

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010) Vol. IV
What do you mean by 'overhyped'?
The only 'overhyping' going on is those who guess at what options Virgin have in regards to getting the Sky HD channels, and then get disappointed when their guess isn't correct.
I would love to see all the Sky HD channels on Virgin as much as anyone else, but when and how that happens is down to Sky

They are going to advertise it to their own customers first so as it has not launched yet we will need to wait and see what happens nearer to the launch date

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010) Vol. IV
Seriously, why would anyone expect a brand new high profile Sky channel to be available to us in HD, when there's already Sky Arts, Sky News, Sky Sports News, Sky Sports 3 and 4, Sky Box Office still to come?

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010) Vol. IV
BSkyB to close Challenge Jackpot early.
My old Sky EPG is saying that Challenge Jackpot will close at midnight on Friday and not 6am on Satuarday as listed on Virgin Media's EPG.
The last LIVE show will end at 4am on Thursday night.
