Re: Virgin to give new Superhub out.
My ping tests and connection speeds seem unaffected.

Old (Linksys WRT160Nv2)

New (50Mb Superhub)
Also, got kind of worried! Recieved a D-Link DIR 615 today in the post, and thought i wouldnt get a superhub! Apparently I just get to play around with this one and DDWRT now...

New unit is nice and sleek, and I'm impressed with the speed wired
Just need to change me ps3 and printer settings now.

What settings do you need to do on PS3 i have superhub and my Ps3 is ethernet wired and i hve tried a connection test but it won,t show speed for some reason the laptop on vista will not get 50 but the one on windows 7 will when in the same room as hub but the vista lappy will when wired.

So for once you have posted something that is true WELL DONE.
Try and make a habit of it now.
I think you have been a bit Hastie in getting rid of the hub thou. Its a very very good bit of kit.

Yes but if I put superhub back on, why is the packet loss went badly see my last pingtest on superhub here:
compare to my old 50 meg modem here:
I don't why is this ? Is it to do with firewall connection on the superhub ? as both were connection to pc from the modem with the wi-fi turned off.
Masque - is there any tips how to get rid of packet loss if I switch back to superhub tomorrow as I need help.
Maybe something to do with ip address change from modem to modem that cause superhub packet loss ?

Good to see a genuine set of pictures but I still wonder why they have sent you all those modems when the VMNG300 would have sufficed for all the packages you have been on up to now, maybe that is why we thought it very odd as it is unlikely, but this has shown that it is not.
I hope that someone checks the account so those agents can be given feedback about not following procedures.

Not blaming you but the agents who keep sending out unnecessary kit for no reason, I am still wondering why you have not been charged £75 for the Superhub as well due to you already having the correct modem.

Re: Virgin to give new Superhub out.
Maybe I phone up virgin media for them to collection VMNG300 to avoid my next month £75 bill for superhub if I still kept my 50 meg modem

Re: Virgin to give new Superhub out.
I've only just noticed I was left with a manual for the old hub!
Also I have the occasional disconnect, the blue led at the top of the hub seems to go green and I lose my connection for a wee while, any tips for things to check?
Thanks in advance.
