Re: Virgin to give new Superhub out.
I went back to 50 meg modem. Because the superhub had a 78% packet loss and awful speed all over the place. I went back to 50 Meg modem and the packet loss is now disappear and I notice the new ip address on the superhub was already in use back to 2009 with 834ms ping (on the speedtest result chart) look like someone else is using same ip address where the problem is.
The box say it was virgin media netgear dg430 and the mac address is A0 (the first two)
I can see the superhub had 2.4g and 5g (n) the box had a long ethernet cable and all spiltter inside, with all instruction and I had to wait until 100 meg come to my area then I will use superhub.
There had blue light at the top, and two green lights in middle and bottom (the middle is tick mark) and bottom is wireless. The power on and off are the back of the modem (underneath)

You are not using the same ip address as otherwise the modem would never have got online and it does not matter if it was used in 2009 as ip addresses are finite and when they go back into use they can be assigned to any user.

Funny, as that's not the model number of the SuperHub

So what Ethernet device did you have connected and what was it? 10/100 or GigE?

Ben
Definitely not the number on the back of my super hub
Is the 430 not the original superhub by any chance

Re: Virgin to give new Superhub out.
The non-Super Hub is the 280. All the SuperHubs are the same model number

Re: Virgin to give new Superhub out.
Check out this Google Images page for the search "Netgear dg430"

Did anyone else laugh at the first few images?

You don't have talk a lot of nonsense. No one would be using the same IP address. Also that model number is totally wrong.
I have actually had the superhub for a while now as I was part of the trials and it works brilliantly.
