on the new tivo boxes you can get apps facebook you tube twitter and BBC radio 1

why can't you get apps on the V+boxes facebook you tube twitter and BBC radio 1

Because the current platform is too old, and the boxes not powerful enought to support them

Mainly because the existing VM software isn't built for apps and the STBs probably couldn't run them even if it was.

You could have asked this in the existing TiVo thread that I pointed you towards the other day.
