I would have thought that figures like those would have encouraged ITV to do a deal with VM as quickly as possible to increase viewing figures as quickly as possible, as selling advertising with such low numbers cannot be easy. Though I guess they sell advertising as a package.
Perhaps someone in advertising could educate me?

Hi Windy,
So until TiVo enabled boxes become standard PVR on VM and not a premium product, we will just have to hide SD channels on our fav setting

Is there any likelihood of TCM broadcasting in HD, I think its the only movie channel left to do so, and one of the original movie channels to start out.

your right of coarse, I didn't include them as movie channels, forgot, as I dont watch them cos they are so poor in quality, and we forgot Horror also. Tcm been around for ages and I know they show a lot of old stuff but they do tend to mix it with new also.

Just seen a advert on ITV about ITV+1 and that states that it starts on 11-1-11. So the info that has been on DS has been correct for once.

Widescreen would be a start.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010) Vol. IV
There are rumours that we will be getting CBS Drama, which would be part of a welcome replacement for the channels that we are losing with the Sky takeover of Bravo and Channel One. Do you think we'll get the HD version? http://wotsat.techradar.com/news/cbs...s-way-10-12-10

Comedy Central launched a HD simulcast even though the SD channel still broadcasts 4:3 so you never know but widescreen would be good for a start.
There is a TCM HD channel in the US but it broadcasts mostly upscaled fare.
