Wikipedia (not WikiLeads) says Challenge Jackpot is owned by Living TV Group and run in collaboration with NetPlay TV.

Virgin has said in the past that the Sky Arts HD Channels will launch - no news on any launch date yet by any of my insiders.
Virgin are still in talks with ITV about ITV2, ITV3 and ITV4 HD Channels.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010) Vol. IV
Never trust Wikipedia too much, its openness is a strength but also a weakness. If it is owned by Living TV and run in collaboration with NetPlay TV, it suggests that NetPlay did not own it, but perhaps ran it for Living TV - kind of like outsourcing.
Thanks for HD channel update.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010) Vol. IV
we all know why sky is cutting these channels.
because they was competing with there's.
so the the best thing to do.
is to buy out the competition and close them down.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010) Vol. IV
Of course - if you can buy up a competitor you can either use them to increase revenue by branding them separately, or shut them down to give you a clear playing field to increase prices. Commercially it makes perfect sense.

Virgin Media has told TechRadar that it will continue to "build on" its 3D strategy in the coming year, with the imminent arrival of its latest set top box making it much easier to find content.

Challenge Jackpot is wholly owned by Living TV Group which of course is owned by BSkyB.

I wonder why Virgin don't try to offer Sky 3D channel at an extra monthly cost. Sky would get more revenue making them happy and Virgin customers then have more choice. I wonder whether that has been floated as an idea?

I don't suppose it makes much difference eitherway now. In respect of Jackpot they have ready replacements for VM customers with Sky Vegas and the likes anyway.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010) Vol. IV
When SKY close these channels, it's both SKY and Virgin customers that are losing out. Are SKY customers upset with these closures too?
I think it's sad when any fairly popular channel closes.

Channel One Popular
Channel One +1 Popular
Challenge Jackpot Popular
Bravo Popular
Bravo +1 Popular
Bravo 2 Popular
Lets face it even Bravo have been struggling with viewers since. And that is the reason why they are chopping them. Im just as angry as you as I DO watch programs on these channels but I still think that they are just as dead as Big Brother.

This is a story all about how SKY flipped these channels upside down.....
Does anyone know if Pascal Vs. Hopkins, being shown by Primetime, will be available on Virgin a week on Saturday?
