Oi Hugh you have to be careful thinking about those things... a man at your age might get a heartattack

just been out in the car, main roads fine, side roads treacherous though. bright sunshine then freezing fog then back into sun. temp monitor on the car went down to -5 and that was 14:30!

Daughters, perhaps - grand-daughters, no.......
(anyway, my first wife was from Teeside, not Newcastle - so v. unlikely.... )
(Mind you, there was those girls in RAF training who were Geordies, and....... Nah!!!!).

I don't know if it's something in the tap water in Newcastle but last year I saw a couple of lassies in the city centre wearing santa hats and bikinis.
And a scarf each as a concession to the temperature.........it was -10c.
