Re: Traffic Management Policy
Its a sad day when VM needlessly throttle you at weekends for 12hrs no matter what.
I smell slap on wrists time for them. They have gone way too far now
Apparently they have £40m worth of upgrades beginning of next year and a useless TiVo box system soon with TV and Broadband together in one box, it better not be mandatory or they can kiss my ass :P

Re: Traffic Management Policy
If I win £100 million pounds on the lottery, I will buy out Virgin Media and will scrap traffic management on the 50Meg and the 100Meg flagship. Only the 20Meg will stay on the traffic management. The 10Meg will be disappear (outdated now)
The 50Meg will bring in 25Meg uploads and the 100Meg will bring in 50Meg uploads (both non-traffic management)

Given Virgin Media is worth $8.76bn at the moment not including the $6bn of debt that would have to be assumed as well I think we won't be seeing this happen any time soon.
£100 million wouldn't even pay for the work that would be needed to deliver those services as described.
