SWF in PowerPoint

Hi,

Anybody know how to embed an swf object into PowerPoint?

I don't mean inserting the object but actually combining into the ppt / pptx file so it does not have to be a seperate swf file in the folder

Any ideas?

Re: SWF in PowerPoint

Office 2007 saves everything separate anyway, the pptx file is just a .zip file effectively with XML data in it (try it... rename your pptx to zip and you'll see what I mean)

Re: SWF in PowerPoint

I think you have to insert an object and there is an option in that list for 2003.

...and all that does is link too the swf file - it does not attach the file to the PPT.

To embed Flash movie into your Presentation, set Embed Movie property to True. Embed means that external Flash movie will be stored in presentation and it can be viewed on any computer where Adobe Flash Player installed.
Which is exactly what I need to do - if it works - I'll try it out - thanks for the ponter!
