However it is going to make my life a misery, WHY ? Because its going to be toll on both bridges which means everyone not willing to pay will be driving through Warrington to get from Runcorn to Widnes and that means they will be blocking bridge foot more than they are now. Every Time there is a hint of a problem on that bridge they all travel through Warrington instead and then i cannot get out of my road because of the tail backs. My friend who lives in Widnes has already said he will NOT be paying to cross ether of those bridge's which means he will have to travel via Warrington bridge foot instead, If everyone does that all they have done is moved the problem.

I get your point and I have to hold my hands up to going home via Lymm at certain times. My employer has changed my base/area of work and they simply couldn't care less if this means you have to travel across a bridge not designed for the amount of traffic which uses it - they do however complain when I'm not covering a clinic. I'm also 100% sure they won't be subsidising me for toll costs either

I just hope that Warrington council put something in place to ensure that there is no increase in traffic because of that bridge. Oh look there goes a flying pink pig

On paper a welcome shot in the arm for the local economy but if they set unreasonable tolls on both bridges then loads of people will take an extra 15 minute hit to do the 62/Thelwall/56 route. I wonder how many people who work opposite sides of the bridge would actually shell out the wedge for a season ticket seeing as it's currently free.

I literally work the other side of the bridge in Astmoor, Runcorn, so there is no way I'm travelling around unless absolutely necessary. I guess I'll just have to take the hit - the only silver lining is I'm only part time in Runcorn, with the rest of my time spent the right side of the bridge
